Dr E Gauntlett

Teacher of Psychology

Dr Gauntlett is an experienced teacher of Psychology, having worked in Sixth Form, FE colleges and the HE sector for over 10 years. Her first degree was undertaken at the University of Southampton in BA (Hons) Philosophy, before completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology. Her areas of interest include the psychology of education, social psychology and psychopathology. She has recently been awarded her doctorate in Psychology and Education from Bournemouth University for her research into psychological resilience in low-income university students.

She is the co-author of several Psychology textbooks and has examined A-level and GCSE psychology for many years. Dr Gauntlett is also Chair of Examiners for an international awarding body and is passionate about fair assessment and promoting the access to education.
