As part of our Careers Fortnight in January, there will be a Higher Education and Apprenticeships Information Evening on Tuesday 23rd January from 6pm-8:30pm. The information presented in the evening will be of interest to Year 12 students and their parents as well as Year 11 students and their parents who may be looking ahead to the opportunities that will open up upon completion of level 3 studies.
We have a representative from the University of Southampton coming to explain the UCAS process of researching, choosing and applying to universities. A representative from the University of Portsmouth is coming to explain student fees and finance and how students fund their higher level studies. Also joining us is Kim Martin from Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools (ASK) who will be talking to us about higher level apprenticeships.
