Teacher of English Literature
Mrs Anderson thoroughly enjoyed studying for her A Levels at a sixth form college. She gained her degree in English Literature and Language from Oxford University, where she loved studying the grand sweep of literature from Anglo Saxon to the twentieth century. Gaining her teaching qualification in New Zealand, she has taught in Auckland’s largest secondary school, has fifteen years’ experience in targeted postgraduate, A Level and GCSE tuition in the UK, and loves being part of the S6C team.
Mrs Anderson reads books and watches films far too late at night. She stands by the conviction that an anthology of poetry can change your life and has been known to read her own writing at Poetika open mic evenings in Salisbury. She is glad that the novels she wants to read always outweigh those she has read.
