Course Description

Sociology is the study of society. You will learn how to write essays on a range of subjects from the family, politics, history, education and religion, and examine theories of, and solutions to, crime. You will explore the problems facing society and the way sociologists go about studying society and social conditions. You will also learn how society has changed over time and what factors influence the growth and development of society.

There is also the opportunity to examine your own place in society and how factors may influence you throughout your lifetime.
