S6C students lead science sessions for Exeter House School students

Science students at S6C were invited to Exeter House School to run some fun activities there as part of National Science week. Our students spent the morning making bouncy putty (ever see the film ‘Flubber’?) out of PVA glue and letting off water bottle rockets, for five groups of Exeter House School Students over the whole age range from primary to sixth-form.

Our students were brilliant, showing great enthusiasm and really helping the Exeter House School students on an individual level. Our students got a lot out of it too. They were struck by the determination of some Exeter House School students to be able to take part.

Acting Deputy Headteacher from Exeter House School said, “I just wanted to say that our students had a fantastic morning with the Science students from the Salisbury 6th Form. Mr King planned some really exciting activities for us, and the children loved working with the 6th Formers. We hope that you would like to come and work with us again.”
