Friday 14th October
This Tuesday the college was buzzing with our first Development Day of the year. The day focused on how we can all promote physical, emotional and mental wellbeing and I was delighted to see so many of our students and staff taking part and trying new things.
The programme of activities was incredibly diverse, encouraging everyone to CONNECT, BE ACTIVE, TAKE NOTICE, KEEP LEARNING and GIVE. I felt immensely proud of the care and energy generated on Tuesday and I am looking forward to seeing how we can use what we have learned, both in college and in the wider community.
On Thursday we held a hugely successful open evening, welcoming over 350 people into the college to introduce our wide offering of courses and excellent facilities. We hope that we were able to inspire our next cohort of sixth form students and look forward to helping these young people make their choices in the forthcoming months.
