Admission Appeals
If you are refused a place at S6C you have the right to appeal.
- Download the Admission Appeal form or contact the College and ask for a copy
- Complete and return the Admission Appeal form for the attention of the Admissions Officer, with any additional supporting information, within 20 school days from the date of notification that your application was unsuccessful.
- The Head of College will investigate the application and inform the applicant of the result of the appeal within 20 school days of receipt of the appeal form. If the Head of College is unable to consider the appeal due to any conflict, your appeal will be considered by the MLP Director of Secondary/Post 16 Education.
- If the applicant is not happy with the Head of College’s decision they will be offered the right of appeal to an independent appeals panel. They must notify in writing the MLP Head of Governance their intention to appeal within 20 school days of receipt of the letter from the Head of College. The Head of Governance can be contacted at compsec@magnalearningpartnership.org.uk.
