And just like that we have reached the end of term. Despite the heatwaves, exams were completed, courses finished, trips attended and our September 2026 new starters were welcomed with open arms for their taster day.
As always, the college would like to extend thanks to all our parent supporters who, despite stepping back to allow their children to mature and grow and gain independence, remain our advocates and friends. Thanks also to our governors, who are tireless in their pursuit of excellence and parity for the college, and our staff, who have created such a wonderful centre of learning. Finally, thanks to all of our students. Every day that you attend S6C, you make us immensely proud, you are tenacious, driven and ambitious, kind, welcoming and thoughtful. For our leavers, we wish you all the very best of luck! For our year 12 students, we hope you have a wonderful summer break and return to us hungry to learn and be the best versions of yourselves you can be – don’t forget, It’s All About You!
Walk for Wards 2026
Our staff team, with their children, did an amazing job representing the college and raising money for the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal. If you would like to donate to this very worthy cause, please CLICK HERE.
Free School Meals
From September 2026, the government is extending the provision of a free meal in college to all households who are in receipt of Universal Credit. You can apply for a free meal through the college free meal and bursary system.
Households where the total income is less than £36,000 may also qualify for assistance through the 16-19 bursary programme.
If your young person has received a bursary in 2025/26 they will have been issued with a renewal email on 1st July where they will be asked to sign into the bursary system and either complete a declaration stating that the financial circumstances of the household have not changed or submit revised income information. Please ensure your young person does this in good time as we will be unable to renew bus passes for the new term without this.
